Lawrence Emil Wisnoski

Lawrence Emil Wisnoski, 87, of Waller, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026, at Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital. He was born on February 5, 1939, to Leon and Theresa Wisnoski.

Lawrence graduated from Reagan High School in the Heights and went on to serve in the National Guard Tank Infantry. Following his military service, he began a 40-year career with Cameron Iron, where he worked as a machinist and inspector.

On June 19, 1965, Lawrence married the love of his life, Bibian Jozwiak of Chappell Hill, Texas, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. They shared 61 years of marriage and together raised four sons, instilling in them strong Christian values and a deep love of family.
Lawrence was a devoted husband and father who was always there to offer guidance, support, and wisdom to his family.

Lawrence cherished family gatherings and had a special way of bringing joy to those around him. He spent countless hours researching genealogy on both sides of his family, preserving the stories and history of those who came before him. He treasured his Polish heritage and had a deep appreciation for Texas history.

Lawrence was a proud member of the Polish National Alliance (P.N.A.) at the Polish Home and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, including gardening and sharing his produce with family and friends. He also enjoyed collecting coins and stamps, listening to Polish music, and attending Polish festivals.

Lawrence will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his strong faith, his pride in his heritage, and the joy he brought to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Lawrence is survived by his beloved wife, Bibian; his four sons and their wives, Michael and Karen, Mark and Anne, Darrell and Cindee, and Brian and Christy; and his eight grandchildren, Katie, Ethan, Justin, Gillian, Brooke, Emilee, Luke, and Jake; and brother Raymond Wisnoski.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Theresa Wisnoski; sisters Lynn and Beatrice Wisnoski.

Pallbearers for Lawrence will be his sons and grandsons.

Services for Lawrence will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill, Texas. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by the recitation of the Rosary at 10:00 a.m. and then Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
