Leon Eugene Konieczny

Tracey and family: so sorry for your loss. You have such great memories. Hang on to those. Heaven gained a great man and an angel to watch over you all. May your faith give you comfort.

I learned of Leon’s death today and I am ever so sorry. I met him eons ago, when I attended St. Mary’s Catholic School along with his late sister-in-law Patsy Bednar. He and FRANCES had just started dating in the late 60’s. They had come to the school, he and FRANCES, and picked Patsy and I up in his car. I thought we might wreck, cause neither of them could keep their eyes off one another!! I remember Patsy even laughing and telling them to stop acting “so mushy!” And how you could tell they cared for one another. They couldn’t keep from smiling at one another and touching hands. Though I don’t remember a lot about Leon, that day especially, he came across as an EXTREMELY KIND and LOVING man towards FRANCES, life. I wasn’t surprised they married and I am happy he and Franny had 47 years together and a life well lived and loved with one another, family and friends. God’s blessings to all. Paula.

So sorry for the loss of your beloved husband and father. I will never forget when we moved to Brenham,1977, when we worked for Mr.Morris n you showed us ur wedding pics like u had just gotten married that day. That was so sweet n I never really forgot that look on u . Cherish the memories n let’s give glory to God that he gave u that tremendous gift. Lots of love from this friend,

We are so sorry to hear of Leon's passing. He fought a long hard battle for a very long time. He may have lost the fight but he won the war. He's in heaven rejoicing and looking down on all of you.
