Lillie Mae Kramer

Lillie Mae (Naumann) Kramer, 88, of Brenham, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 in Kruse Village.

Lillie Mae was born February 6, 1924 in rural Washington County to parents Louis and Clara (Weidner) Naumann. On June 22, 1924, Lillie Mae was baptized in Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville; and in 1938 she was confirmed in Salem Lutheran Church of Salem. On April 28, 1946 she was united in marriage to Johnnie E. Kramer at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Phillipsburg. Lillie Mae was a homemaker and worked several years as a retail sales clerk for Sears in Houston. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Brenham. She taught Sunday school for many years at Zion Lutheran Church in Houston. Her hobbies included baking, cooking and gardening.

Lillie Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband Johnnie E. Kramer on January 12, 2012, and son Donald Ray Kramer.

Survivors include her son Ken Kramer and wife Diane of Austin; granddaughter Katherine Ann Kramer of Los Angeles, CA; sisters and brother-in-law Nora and Lee Roy Meier of Kenney and Ruth Kelling of Brenham; sisters-in-law Ruby Naumann and Evelyn Naumann, both of Brenham, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm, Monday, March 12 in Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Walt Schindehette officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
