Lillie (Patterson) Covington

Lillie Ann Covington, 85 of Pasadena and formerly of Brenham, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 10th, from noon until funeral services begin at 2 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Lillie Ann Covington was born April 10, 1931 in Pearsall, Texas to Robert and Flossie (Waggoner) Patterson. On July 29, 1950, she married Albert Covington. They made their home in Pasadena and later retired in Brenham. Lillie was an avid reader and gardener. She was a talented artist, painting in oil and teaching art classes, and making ceramics and yard art. She enjoyed sewing for her family and time with grandchildren playing games and watching movies.

She was preceded in death by: parents, husband, sons Kidd and Shan Covington, brother Bobby Patterson and sister Nancy Kuebler.

Surviving loving family includes: daughter, Debbie Anthony and husband Gary; son, Eric Covington; grandchildren, Clint Sorensen, Andrea Sorensen Lea, Heather Covington, Dylan Covington; great grandchildren, Preston Lea, Corbin Sorensen, Trinity Cowan; sisters, Clara Isaacks, Mary Jo Ashmore; numerous nephews and nieces.
