Maxine, Lloyd, Michael, Jeff & Susan,

We are saddened to hear the news of Jr.’s passing. Jr. was such a wonderful man and leaves an incredible legacy to his family and community. Mom shared her memories with him often when talking about life on the farm and growing up at Salem. She looked forward each year in planning the Richter family cousins’ reunions with Jr.... it was such a summer highlight for her and for us to attend. He brought her so much joy! My thoughts and prayers for y’all and may you find peace and comfort during this difficult journey.

Hugs & love,

I remember Mr Schwarze working tirelessly at the church. There wasn't a thing he wouldn't do to help any group or committee. I remember him churning an ice cream freezer for one of our Luther League socials! He always had a smile for everyone. He lived his life with a passion that few have. May God grant you peace!

Maxine, Lloyd, Michael, Jeff, Susan and all the Family:

You have been great friends since the day we moved into the Salem Community in 1971. Jr was a pillar for so many in helping with all kinds of activities. We remember past days with him helping the Church, Fire Department, Shooting Club and especially all the help he did with the AAL (Thrivent) Branches. We will not forget all the good times we had together with him and your family. It won't be quite the same driving around the FM 332 curve not seeing him in the garden or on his tractor. He will be greatly missed.

To the Schwarze family:

We are so very sorry for the loss of Junior. From the time we met over 30 years ago, he always treated you like part of the family. Whether it was watching sports, celebrating one of the Schwarze family birthdays, or just stopping by for a visit, he always made you feel welcome. Always cracking jokes, or telling you how much the team you rooted for was terrible. And boy, could he make a pot of stew? Just a great guy, he will be missed by many who cherished his great laugh and his friendship. Thanks for the memories Junior.

Jr was a great person. I’ve known him for 30 plus years. He was always happy and full of crap. Especially when Chad was around. It was always funny to watch them pick on each other. I’m going to miss that man. He wasn’t my Grandpa, but I sure thought of him as one. May you rest In peace Grandpa Schwarze. I sure am gonna miss you.
