Louise was a dear lifelong friend of my late mother's since they attended St. Agnes Academy together here in Houston, graduating in 1945. She taught me violin lessons when I was junior-high age, in the 1960s. She and my mom kept in close touch as dear friends till my mother's passing, and I tried to keep up with her by phone after that.

St. Agnes alumni attendees will pray and light a candle for her on All Saints Day 2023, along with other alumni losses this year.

She was indeed, fervently devout and the most encouraging, loving person ever! I loved her and am glad to have known her.

May perpetual light shine upon you, Louise!

Louise was the kindest, most compassionate lady!

She had empathy towards others. Her love for God and her passion for religious scriptures was the way she lived her life.

I always looked forward to her many telephone calls. It was truly an honor and a pleasure to be able to visit with Louise in person.

For many years she was a close friend of my aunt's. It is how I met Louise over 35 years ago.

I was blessed to have had Louise touch my life.

Rest in eternal peace, Louise, and may perpetual light shine upon you. You were a loving, kind friend to me!

Gone . . . but never forgotten!

I never met Louise's family, but I knew her since before my dad, Bill Byrne, passed away twenty-five years ago. She and my dad were good friends from church, and Louise helped him through his illness and our family through our grief. My condolences to her family. Pax et bonum.

My sincerest condolence to your family. Ms Louise was the kindest woman who always kept God close in her heart. I met her when I was 15 working at the Dairy Bar and she’d always come through the drive thru and we would always have the best conversations. I was so blessed to know her. God gained an amazing Angel.

Deepest Sympathy to the Family of Louise Addams. Louise was a very kind and spiritual person. I will never forget her kindness she gave in helping the youth at St. Marys attend World Youth day in Australia, especially our daughter. She loved plants and shared and lived her Faith daily. May the Perpetual Light Shine upon her.

So sorry to hear about the death of Louise. She was the most compassionate and kind person I have ever know. She and I worked together with under privileged youth in Houston's Forth Ward.
