Obituary
The family and friends of Lucky T. Wilson mourn his recent passing on June 27, 2007. Lucky served both his country and community in the U.S. Army for ten years and served thirty-four years as a police officer in both Houston and Brenham.
Lucky was born November 18, 1940 in Conroe, TX to Hubert Elmer “Bull” and Mary Alice Hatcher Wilson. He attended Reagan High School and Sam Houston State University. Lucky married Linda Lynch on October 10, 1980 in Spring, Texas. He helped organize and train members of the Citizens on Patrol Police Academy and Explorers for Boy Scouts and was a member of the James F. Dillon Post #7104 of the V.F.W. Lucky was a family man who loved to barbeque and travel.
His parents, granddaughter Faith Weise and mother-in-law Hildur L. Lynch preceded him in death.
Survivors include his loving wife Linda Wilson of Brenham; sons and daughters-in-law Greg and Teri Weise of Cypress, Lucky T. Jr. and Pam Wilson of Tomball, Chuck Wilson of The Woodlands; daughters and sons-in-law Ginger and Mike Anderson of Swanee, GA, Teri and Ronald “Pee Wee” McWhirter of Cut and Shoot, TX; grandchildren Ashley and Taylor Weise, Ronnie and wife Rebecca McWhirter, Austin, Ryan and Matthew Anderson, Jacob Wilson; great-grandson Robert Jones; brother and sister-in-law George and Cynthia Wilson, niece and nephew Karen and Kenny all of Brenham; father-in-law Granville W. Lynch, Jr. of Orlando, FL; brother-in-law Larry Lynch of Boulder, CO. He will be dearly missed by many.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 1, 2007 in Brenham Memorial Chapel.
Services are being held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 2, 2007 in Brenham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Embry officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brenham police officers, Roy Fisher, Joe Merkley, Albert Garcia, Ray Wilkinson, Tommie Nettle and Todd Jacobs.
