Luman Wilbert Holloway

Luman Wilbert Holloway, age 78, and son of Eldridge and Ruth (Powers) Holloway went to Heaven on December 22, 2019.

Luman was born November 25, 1941 in Orrick Missouri. He was baptized in the Nazarene Church in Richmond Missouri. He married Sharon Sue Stoneberger in Kansas City Missouri on September 6, 1962. They had nine children.

Luman is preceded in death by his father Eldridge Holloway, mother Ruth Holloway, brother Howard Holloway, sister Fleata Rogers, brother Claude Holloway, brother William Holloway and two infant sons.

He is survived by his family: wife Sharon; sister Beulah Hays; sister-in-law Patricia Ryan and husband David; brother-in-law Larry Mitchell; children: Charles and Tammy Holloway, Nancy and Smiley Perez, Samantha and Tony Romero, Luman and Penney Holloway, Juanita Holloway, William Holloway, Beulah “Bea” and Frank Leal, 56 grandchildren and 64 great grandchildren (and all his BNRC children).

Special thanks to Brenham Nursing and Rehab. Thank you to Dr. Frank Leal, Aubrey Eickenhorst, amazing nurses, aides, physical therapy department. The family is so grateful for all their support and love. Luman loved them as much as they loved him.
Thank you for loving and caring for “Papa Bear” when we couldn’t be there.

There will be a balloon release at 10:00 AM at BNRC on December 28, 2019 and a private family memorial to follow.
