Lynn Clyde Taggart - Guestbook

Dear Kathie and Bruce, our hearts grieve with you today. Even though Mr. Taggart is in heaven with the Lord, he will be missed among your loving family. Kathie, you and your sisters’ close bond with your dad reminds me so much of me and my sisters’ great love and admiration for our daddy. My daddy, Uncle Norman, and your dad are examples of God’s Spirit loving others through such strong yet gentle men of integrity, generosity and lifelong service to the Lord, their families, and others. May the peace of Christ sustain you and heal you. Love to you from the Fry family in Missouri.

Dear Mrs. Taggart, Kathie, Karen, Kasey, and the rest of the family:
It is through tears of sadness and with a broken heart that I tell you how very much Mr. Taggart has meant to me over the 50 some-odd years I have known and respected him. I now offer my sincere condolences in knowing such a great, kind and gentleman has gone on to his reward. In all those years, I never heard a critical or cross-word pass his lips that was not said in kindness or in his unique quiet humor in recounting the many memories of his remarkable life. From his boyhood in Arkansas; to his many years with Texaco; and, of course, his family, who were his greatest joy and love. He was a man you respected because he earned your respect with his many deeds of kindness and Mr. Taggart's actions in helping others. His efforts were always done with great humility and never for self-glorification as Jesus taught. I know there is great sorrow and grief, and your hearts are heavy with his passing, but few men live the exemplary life Mr. Taggart did devoted to his God, family, and friends.

I loved Mr. Taggart as I did my own father and will never forget him. I have a special place in my heart filled with love and great fondness as there are so few men like him in this world who touched me personally. I pray that you will all find comfort and solace in your time of grief and have the knowledge that this great man is in the place of no suffering, no tears, and no pain. His legacy will be one of great love, especially for his wife, daughters, and other family and friends. Mr. Taggart never met a stranger and always left every person he met feeling better and with a smile on their face. Gone but never forgotten by the many lives he touched, especially mine.

I came to know Mr T in these last five months, and it was one of my greatest pleasures to have been part of his life. To know Mr T is to also know his loving wife, Lois and their three most precious gifts, his three girls., Kathie, Karen and Kasey. To walk into their home is to walk into a cocoon of love,. They embraced me into that cocoon and I will not ever forget that he and Mrs T made me feel that same love. Mr T, I know your celestial neighbourhood will outshine the rest especially with the love shine you are bringing to it,
