To the Babbitt and Darr families:
I was so saddened to hear of Auggie's passing. I met Auggie when we were teenagers and had always loved her smile, charm and total sweetness. I had lost touch with her over the years but was blessed to see her in 2008. She was still the very same sweetheart of a person with her quick smile and friendly ways. I am grateful for having had that time with her.
I will forever remember her and cherish the memories I have of those days going to dances and playing volleyball.
All of you are in my prayers and thoughts at this very difficult time.
Rest in Peace beautiful lady, you will be missed greatly.

Jake, Kyle, and Brian,
Words cannot describe how we feel about Auggie. She has been there for each one of us no matter what the issue was. From just being a great neighbor, when we first moved to Brenham, to being a confirmation sponsor for Kyle and Megan. She truly was a light from God and helped us understand how important it is to have faith in Him by participating in many DCYC's, WYD's, and leading the youth group for anyone wanting to strengthen their faith. She was more than a neighbor, she was like family to us. No matter what she was going through, she always found the strength to help us through our struggles. We will truly miss her.

There are no words than can express the impact that Auggie had on my life. Without her guidance I wouldn't be half the therapist or woman that I am today. She was an inspiration to everyone in her life and the biggest inspiration to me through her struggles. Only Auggie could still be motivational and calm me down with her wisdom and faith even when she was going through the biggest fight of her life. I will never forget her and I strive everyday to follow in her footsteps as a caring, compassionate therapist and human being. I know that she is our angel looking down on us from heaven, finally pain free, and now serving as God's right hand woman as she was here on Earth. I am sure right now Auggie is teaching everyone in heaven how to improve their posture! She will truly be missed! God bless your family in this time of sorrow.

There are people in life that make you want to be more and to do more with the gifts that are given to you. Auggie was one of those people. Auggie was a beautiful person. I can still hear her laugh when I think about her. I thank God that I was given the opportunity to work with Auggie and get to know her as a person. When I became a new mom, her words of wisdom were always inspiring and enjoyable. Her stretches could cure any ailment!

I was shocked to hear of her passing. I did not know Auggie personally, only professionally. I had hip surgery back in 2008 and she was my favorite therapist. She had a way with it all that made you feel comfortable with her and at ease. She knew what she was talking about and I would refer anyone to her. She helped me out greatly in my time of need. I will always be grateful for that. May you rest in Peace! To the family I say she was a good person and will be missed. My prayers are with all of you.

To the family of Auggie,
I was saddened when my father informed me of Auggie's passing. She was a star in Hallettsville, Blinn College and in her family and professional careers. We lost her way too soon, but are comforted in that she has joined her family in Heaven.
May her family be blessed in knowing that her bright star will shine on in our loving memories of her.

Dear Babbitt and Darr families,
Auggie will be sorely missed in my practice and in the medical community in Brenham.
I always felt that she was the epitome of a caring and compasionate therapist. She knew how to get the most out of all the patients. She used her methods, and could coax success out of the most difficult situations!
The ultimate compliment is that she was loved by all of her patients!! I don't think she ever had a patient that didn't love her and look forward to their time with her.
Her spirit remains active in our area, through her patients and students.
I will be there with you, in spirit, on Tuesday.
Enjoy her memory and each other!

Jake, Kyle, Bryan,
Auggie was a great teacher and mentor. I was blessed and honored to be able to serve twice with her. First, as a teacher's aide to confirmation students, and second, as a lector at 8:00 Mass on Sunday mornings. I will cherish these memories forever and hold them deeply in my heart!
Her faith, love and trust in God was also an inspiration to me. I have learned so much from Auggie, my Catholic faith is stronger because of her. I will do my best to live and love as she did here. God has truly received an angel in Heaven! Peace and love to you all!

I always had told Auggie that when he gave the Homily at Mass , it was like an angel was speaking to us, because her voice was pleasing and the words were inspiring that when I left that service I felt so enlightened with the Spirit for the week to come.
She will always be an angel in my heart and the hearts of many. We know that the Lord has had her join his team of angels to help spread hope, faith and love for each of us down here.
Auggie you will always close to me as you were such a remarkable person and one that I only wish I could be more like. Your soft spoken words and ability to make friends with total strangers will truely missed.
We your family to find the strenght in the Lord to continue through the coming months.
God Bless all of you.

Brian, Kyle and Family,
I have such fond memories of you boys and your Mom--a very special neighbor and lady. Brian I remember, so well taking you to swim practice because your Mom's teaching schedule prevented her from doing so--you, Taylor and Kyle--my honking the horn when you boys weren't ready and thinking to myself--hurry up boys were going to be late, but by the time we would get to swim practice and I would see you in the water Brian, I thought he's going to be a great swimmer--I think you were about 12 or 13 at the time and of course, you became such an accomplished swimmer--she was so proud of you and thanked me so many times for getting you there. I feel privileged to have known your Mother and she will always live own through you boys!
I have said a very special prayer for you all this morning for love, peace, comfort and joy.

Jake, Kyle and Brian,
There are not many people we meet in this world who really choose and create the life that they want to live. There are even fewer who are so purposeful in everything they do that it reflects "who they really are" to all around them. Auggie was one of those people. She was kind, generous, positive, and full of love for all that she served both professionally and personally. She was that same person as long as I have known her--before and after her diagnosis of cancer. I will never forget my last visit with her a month ago. She was simply herself--Auggie--full of joy and life. I will remember her that way, always. She blessed and inspired me and many others in her short time with us...May we all be blessed to be able to do the same.
Our family will continue to pray for you during this time. God be with you all and may it comfort you to know that Auggie was loved by so many whose lives she touched.

Over the years I have seen Auggie do so many things to help so many people, but the most impressive thing about her was that I NEVER heard her say anything bad about anyone. Even when she was not feeling well, she put on that fabulous smile and did what she could to help others. She will be greatly missed on earth but God has chosen one of the best to join his band of angels in heaven.

Condolences and Sympathy to Jake, Bryan and Kyle on the death of Auggie who was such an amazing person. I have just read the beautiful outpouring of love in every message on this page. She touched every life in such a special way. We were all blessed by her friendship. The last time we saw her was at Raleigh's confirmation 9/11/10. Yesterday we were with Amy when she got the sad news which immediately opened a flood of unstoppable tears of sorrow, wishing she could have "done more" for Auggie who did so much and found time for everybody. Amy reminisced about following the soccer playoffs with yall when Kyle played on the Brenham team and they were in the playoffs. It was an interesting thought because we happened to be in the car enroute to Georgetown to watch Raleigh play in the soccer playoffs Brenham vs Waco Midway. The thought seemed no coincidence, but a gift from Auggie, a special "goodbye, it's okay". After Brenham lost the game 2-1 it did not seem so sad, for we had lost something much more important today. We had lost our Auggie. In a way she belonged to all of us and we will miss her. May God bless you and your whole wonderful family.

My heart is so heavy for you guys. Your mom shared her precious faith in the Lord with me on a bus one spring break to ski in Colorado with us. She was passionate about her faith and her men and physical therpy! I loved her the moment I met her - Kyle's swim party - invited his little buddy Andrew. Beautiful times at the soccer games and tourneys! Since leaving Brenham we have missed you guys! But I would run into her many times. She always talked of her sweet sisters and family. Please know we care for you. We were friends and shared our common interest of boys - she was a very proud mom and a beautiful lady inside and out! You are blessed.
