Dear Luanne,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have very fond memories of our childhood and they include your mom. She was a great lady. I lost my mom on 12/2/11 and know the pain of losing a parent, especially at the holidays. May Peace be with you and comfort you and your family.

Dear Louanne and family,
I was so sorry to hear that one of my closest friends while living in Brenham had gone to her eternal home. Paul and I loved Buster and Mary Lou and they were such good close
friends. I lost Pastor Paul last year. I pray the Lord will guide you and help you through this time in your life. I pray the Lord will be
especially close to those grandchildren she loved so much.

Luanne and family,
I wanted to send prayers and thoughts to you at the loss of your mother. My parents have both died in the last 4 years. The feeling of loss is great, but each day seems to be a little better and I don't feel so much like an orphan. I can imagine the "feast" in Heaven that our parents are now a part of and I can smile through sad times. May the memories of happy times help you during this difficult time.
In deepest sympathy,

There aren't alot of "Mary Lou's" around anymore, so when your Mom and I would meet, we would enjoy exchanging Mary Lou greetings. She was such a lovely, gracious lady. Brenham has again lost someone very special.

May it ease your grief to know that others care and keep you in prayer.

Sincerely,
Roger and Mary Lou (Steinbach) Winkelmann

Luanne, Marty and Family,
Yesterday I learned about your Mother passing . I was so sad but know she is re-united with Buster, "Piglet", Dodie, Gertie, John and Doc ! Your Mom was always so kind to me . Dodie and Georgie were like grandmothers to me and hardly a day does not pass that I think about them and all of the fun times we shared .I'm so happy you are back in Brenham. You all are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
Much love, "Gilmartin" .

Luanne,

When I read this I thought it was so appropriate.
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
Love leaves a memory no one can steal." The love you had for your mother was so precious, and you will carry this love in your heart forever.

Luanne-

My thoughts and prayers go out to you on the loss of your Mother. I have so many fond memories of growing up just across the street from you and your family - I can remember when your Mom and Dad built their house - most of all I remember the many kindnesses shown to me all those years ago. Good memories remain long after good people and your folks certainly qualified so I will always treasure the good times on East Tom Green.
I know the pain of your loss, but trust me when I tell you that the memories of a life so well lived, as was your Mother's, will carry you through it all.

When I became a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas in 2006, Mary Lou was the one that I first talked to about membership.I got to know her better at our meetings and field trips our chapter went on. I will miss her, and wish I knew her longer.
