Mary Louise Coffer

Mary Louise Coffer, 83 of Brenham and formerly of Bryan, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2009 in Bluebonnet Care Center.

She was born November 29, 1925 in Eddy, TX to Mallie Thomas and Iva Lee (Grimes) Broome. On December 22, 1944, she married Calvin C. Coffer in Mart, TX. She was educated in McLennan County schools. Mrs. Coffer was a homemaker and caring for family was her focus in life. She was a member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Bryan.

Her parents, husband and two brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors include: daughter, Patricia Ann Heller and husband Charles of Brenham; sons, Calvin Dean Coffer and wife Lisa and Michael Thomas Coffer all of Bryan; grandchildren, Cheryl and Rob Naudin, Shannon Heller, Meredith and Derek Wagner, Sara Coffer, Ryan Coffer, Kyle Coffer, Nathan Coffer, Jacob Coffer, Aaron Coffer; great-grandchildren, Charlie and Sydney Naudin and Grace Wagner; and best friend, Peggy Reed.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 18, at 10 a.m. in Christ Lutheran Church, Brenham with Rev. Walter Schindehette officiating. Graveside committal will follow at 2 p.m. in Rest-Ever Memorial Park, Bryan. Pallbearers will be Blair Lundborg, Don Holley, Don Voelter, Terry Logan, Edward Heller and Harold Heller.
