Steve: I consider myself such a fortunate person to have known Mary Sue. She was ALWAYS so happy and upbeat and brought a ray of sunshine to all that she met. Her wit and humor made everyone feel happy to be in her company. She will be greatly missed, not only by her family, but also by the community.

Dear Steve, Kathy, Clayton and family,
I've thought about and prayed for Mary Sue ever since our conversation back in December 2010 when we were both diagnosed with cancer. She was a sweet friend and I will always cherish our friendship and memories of the fun times we shared growing up. May God bless you and comfort you.

Steve I am so sorry for your lost. There are not enough words to express my sincere condolence. She was such a lady and a classy lady at that. We will miss her smile and positive attitude about life and having that wonderful marriage you two had. I know it hurts and I know you will miss her so much but Mary Sue will never be forgotten by this community. She made such a difference in what she has done for all she knew and cared about. We are blessed that we had the privilege to know her like I had the privilege. Take care of yourself because that is what she would wish for you. Hopefully in time, you will not hurt as sever as you are now. May God be with you at all times.

I grew up with Mary Sue in Almeda and there was never a nicer person. She was kind, beautiful, and intelligent and a very gentle soul. I had not seen Mary Sue in years however we did on occasion talk about our childhood in recent years. Mary Sue will be missed by all who knew her and the world is a better place because it was graced with her presence.

I only knew Mary Sue for 10 years, but once we met it did not take long for me to know that she was one of the finest ladies that I would ever know in my lifetime. I am proud to be able to say that she was my friend, I find comfort in knowing her suffering is over. I sincerely believe Mary Sue James has already made Heaven a better place if that is possible.I thank you M.S.for making my life better,

What an amazing lady! Mary Sue was the kindnest, sweetest, loving person. I am so glad to have met and spent time with her on various occasions at Blue Bell or Heritage Society events. She defintiley made an impression on me with her positive, sweet spirit! Steve, I am so sorry for your loss and this deep sadness. You all have been in my thoughts and prayers all along through her illness and you will continue to be. May you find a sense of comfort as you remember all your good times together and fondly hold on to all the memories which will get you through the days ahead.
