Michael James Davis

Michael James Davis, age, 48 of Brenham passed away Monday, July 1, 2019.

Mike was born in Houston, Texas on July 27, 1970, and later moved to Brenham with his family.

In 2005 Mike met Melanie Wesolick with whom he spent the next 14 years together until his death.

Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working and spending time with family and friends.

He was always willing to help others. Mike was a jokester, putting a smile on your face and laughter in your heart. He said “I refuse to grow up” and he truly was a child at heart, which was so great about him. Michael will be missed greatly, loved always, and kept in our hearts forever.

He leaves behind longtime partner Melanie Wesolick; sister, Kim Coots; nephew, Justin Ratliff; and sister Jamie Davis.

Michael was preceded in death by his father James D. Davis, Jr.; and mother Carolyn Hermis Henske.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
