Minnie Spiess Washam - Guestbook

Donald and family

My sincere condolences on your mother's passing. When I read about it in the paper, it was too late to go to the service. May God bless you and comfort you in your sorrow.

I will miss great-aunt Minnie and loved seeing her and my Granny Eckermann talk when they got together. It's very sad to lose a member of the family left in her generation. She was such a great lady, always fiesty, and very happy. It is truly a great loss for those that were lucky enough to have her in our lives.

Donald, Gwen and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Your Mom certainly lived a "full" life. We have many memories of being at the Welcome Store on Saturday nights and participating in some of those serious domino games.
Sorry we are unable to be at the funeral today, but please known we are with you in spirit.
God Bless!

Our deepest sympathy, she was such a great lady. She was top-notch when it came to being a Lioness. We could always count on her. She was always at her post doing her job and most likely someone else's too. We missed her when she could no longer come to the meetings. A memorial is being given in her memory to the Lion's Camp for Crippled children.

Dear Donald, Gwen and Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. I'm sending hugs your way and know that I am with you in spirit. Donald, I remember all the times we went to your parents' store when I was staying with Joyce. Your Mom was always so sweet. May God be with all of you during this time.

With love and sympathy,

Grammy was a very special lady and I know you will miss her. I have fond memories of visiting her when we'd go out to "the farm" and to the Welcome Store - even Mikey, who only met her once or twice, remembers her as a sweet lady. What a wonderful person she was!

Our prayers are with your family right now. We love you all!

What a great Lady she was Donald and she touched the lives of so many people in her 95 years. Every one of them will remember her and her kindness as will we. Please let me and Barbara know if there is anything we can do.
