Nancy Munroe

Nancy Chadwick Munroe passed away at noon on Friday the 29th of December 2017.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2018 at Prairie Lea Cemetery
in Brenham.

She was born April 4 in Brenham, Texas. She was predeceased by her parents, Anna Mae (Baker) and Theodore Chadwick and aunt and uncle, Blanche and Roy Smith.

Nancy attended Brenham Schools, loved traveling and had great strength in conservation. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Edwards University in Austin. She lived in Brenham, San Antonio, Houston and for 60 years in Austin, Texas. She was a member of Hyde Park Baptist Church. Nancy was an investor in the financial industry.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Stewart Munroe and her daughter, Molly Munroe and Jake Jelineo.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials given to Austin Food Bank, Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund or Austin Wildlife Rescue.
