Obituary

Patricia Ann Tieman, age 84, of Brenham passed away January 16, 2024.

Patricia was born February 6, 1939 in Macomb, Illinois to Lawson G. and Georgianna (Fawcett) Shryack. After completing high school, Patricia attended beauty school and was a Beautician for many years. She married John H. Tieman, Sr. in 1959. Together they lived in Peoria, Illinois for several years before moving to Monmouth, Illinois where they began their family of 3 children. She was active in the preschool where all 3 children attended. They then moved to Brenham, Texas in 1983. Patricia then decided to become a nurse where she attended the nursing program at Blinn College. In 1985 she became an LVN until her retirement in 2017. She divorced in 1990 and never remarried.

Patricia enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed being a nurse and serving the Brenham community for 32 years at Brenham Rest Home as well as a short time at Gazebo Terrace. She always gave her patients the best care as if they were her own family member.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Lawson G. Shryack, Meridith L. Shryack, Donald L. Shryack, Gerald R. Shryack, and Rodney O. Shryack.

She is survived by her children John H. Tieman, Jr. and spouse Lisa Svatek, Joanna Weber and spouse Brentley, James Tieman and spouse Heather; grandchildren Jacob Tieman and spouse Laura, Zoe’ Tieman, Gabrielle Tieman, Piper Tieman, Josiah Tieman, Jonah Tieman, Judah Tieman, Salome Tieman, Brady Weber; brother Ferman Shryack: Great Grandchildren Jarrod Tieman, Marshall Tieman and Violet Tieman.

A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11am at Brenham Memorial Chapel, 2300 Stringer Street, Brenham, Texas 77833 with an Inurnment following at Prairie Lea Cemetery.
