Patricia "Patty" Rash

Patricia “Patty” Rash, age 65 of Brenham, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022.

Patricia Ann Collins was born August 20, 1956 in Portland, Oregon to parents Robert Lowell Collins and Betty Ruth Meadors Collins. At the age of one, her family moved to Houston. Patty received her diploma and continued studies to become a paralegal.

Most of all, Patty was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her children remember her singing them to sleep. She was involved in their activities, namely Girl Scouts, baseball, soccer and taekwondo. She loved to cook and especially make sweet treats like fudge. Patty was an avid reader and loved playing Bingo. She loved to write and had published work.

Her family includes: children, Julie Robinson, Betty Riley, David Elam and wife Kristen, Patrick Collier and wife Rachel Higa; ten grandchildren, Julie’s kids Melanie Robinson and Courtney Collins, Betty’s kids Angela Meadows and Aaron Brandner, David’s kids Alex Galbraith, Tyler Crabtree, Sean Elam and Lukas Elam, and Patrick’s kids Mila Higa and Maverick Collier; eleven great-grandchildren; second dad Lloyd Raymond Taylor; brothers, Jack Booth, Raymond Taylor, Robert Taylor; sister, Robin Whitcher.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, February 24th from noon until the funeral service begins at 2 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Pastor Pat Dietrich will officiate.
