Paul A. Murski, Sr.

Paul A. Murski, Sr., 85, of Brenham passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 in College Station Medical Center.

Mr. Murski was born April 9, 1926 to Wallace and Mary (Zientek) Murski in Brenham and where he attended school. On November 13, 1948 he was united in marriage to Cecilia Stzelecke at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill. He was a retired welder in the oilfield business and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. After retirement he returned to his beloved Brenham to pursue his love of ranching at his farm in Old Washington.

He is preceded in death by: his parents; loving wife of 61 years, Cecilia; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Surviving family includes: sons Paul A. Murski, Jr. and wife Brenda of Magnolia, Joe Murski of Houston; daughter Patricia Brannon of Spring; grandchildren Jeff Murski and wife Cheryl of Bryan-College Station, Steven Brannon of Houston, Stephanie Brannon of Spring, Daniel Murski of College Station, Jessica Murski of Magnolia; great-grandchildren Megan, Courtney, Caleb; sisters Martha Bilski of Anderson, Clara Warchesik of Brenham.

The Rosary is 7 pm, Thursday, May 26, 2011 in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Mass is 10 am, Friday, May 27, 2011 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. David Ivey, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
