Ray Baranowski

Ray Baranowski age 57 of Brenham passed away Monday, August 8, 2005 in Scott and White Hospital in Temple.

Ray was born in Brenham on January 22, 1948. He was baptized on January 31, 1948; took his first communion on May 10, 1959 and confirmed November 13, 1963 all in St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Brenham High School and Sam Houston State University in 1970. He married Shirley Phillips on August 16, 1970 in Galveston, Texas. Ray worked as a Case Manager for Twin City Mission in Bryan since 2000.

He was preceded in death by his mother and wife Shirley on September 8, 1997.

Survivors include sons Eric Baranowski and Bart Baranowski of Brenham; special friends Eunice and Henry Drews and Cookie and Don Barnett; numerous aunts and uncles.

Rosary will be recited by Father David Ivey at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10 in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 11, 2005 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Miguel Duarte as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Henry Drews, Bob Habermann, Albert Green, Fred Kugel, Larry Nowicki, Randy Reets, Heath Byrd and Blake Kuecker.
