I am so heartbroken reading this. Raymond was the kindest sweetest person you would ever want to meet. Always smiling & would greet me with such a big smile on his face. He will be missed dearly. My heart goes out to all of his family & friends.
Prayers to you all.

Our sincere condolences to the family. I always enjoyed seeing him at the opry and how he enjoyed the music.

Uncle Raymond was so much fun-with so much enthusiasm for life! He did not hesitate to give a hug and smile every time he greeted you. My children and I have many happy memories of him and he will be missed by all of us.

Charlie, Janice and Colleen,

Such wonderful memories of your father. Remembering the Christmas parties at my parents house when I was a teenager. And, the Gasper get togethers.
And then there were the two brother-in-laws, Johnny and Runt. Hope heaven is ready for their antics, Ha.
Both my children commented watching your Mom and Dad dancing. They could really "cut a rug". And, they did not allow, "getting old" to slow them down.
Then your Dad always greeting Charlie, Colleen and I when we attended the Brenham Oprey. I can still hear his raspy voice and laughter.
Raymond Hugh Walker lived his life to the fullest. God is welcoming him into his kingdom.

I love Uncle Raymond's positive, encouraging, can-do spirit. I trust it lives on in all whose lives he touched. Thank you, Uncle Raymond!

I know Mr. Walker from the VFW Post 7104. He always greeted everyone with a smile and had a sparkle in his eyes that was something special. I remember him at the steak suppers, help put out and pick up the salt & pepper shakers on the table. I was at the post last year for his 95 birthday and was very glad I was. What a great person! My prayers to his family and friends.

A true patriot...he and Erma were favorite bank clients of mine. They were involved in many worthwhile projects. Mr. Walker touched countless lives in positive ways...cherish your memories and continue his legacy.
