I will sincerely miss Kay, Noel. & Nicholas. I was fortunate enough to meet Kay at church & she entrusted me with staying at her home to take care of Nicholas & Noel. I was saddened when I heard of Kay's declining health & asked about her frequently. I also prayed for her & always had her on my mind. Rest easy to Kay, Nicholas, & Noel. May you be reunited at the rainbow bridge & into the gates of heaven.

I never met this wonderful lady, but I do know her dad. It is so amazing she lived such a full life with all the difficulties she had. Thinking of her family and friends right now, especially Carl. My deepest condolences.

Kay was my mentor for my Ministry Growth Group my first year of ministry as a pastor. She was such a blessing and encouragement to me! I thank God for her ministry and for her courage in leading the way for women in ministry in the NWTX Conference. May God surround Kay's family with his love, comfort and peace as they mourn their loss and celebrate Kay's life on earth and her Life with the Lord now and forever.

Expressing our sympathy for the loss of precious Kay. Your parents were such a special part of the Methodist Church and the Spearman Community as were you kids. May the Lord bring comfort and strength to each of you at this time of celebrating Kays life of service to the Lord.

Please accept our sincere condolences. Pastor Kay brought so much comfort to the Dorow family when my parents passed away in 2016. Her kind and comforting words and caring heart was always welcomed and appreciated.
Praying for peace and healing as she did for us.

So very sorry to hear about Kay. I grew up in Childress, and she was a part of our congregation, music ministry, and youth group during my high school years. She also was a big influence in my selecting McMurry College to attend. So thankful for her life of ministry!

Dear family of Kay Reed,

Thank you all for your wonderful love, devotion and care to your daughter, sister, aunt, pastor, and friend. I will forever remember Pastor Kay with fondness and gratitude in my heart. She was filled with joy even in her suffering. Her laughter always brought me strength. I loved hearing of how she loved working as a managing director for an opera company and how special her “Agape Singers” band road trips and concerts were such a wonderful time in her life. She had such a beautiful voice and I know without a doubt she is free singing with the saints and angels glorifying her majestic Heavenly Father and King of Kings, Jesus Christ!

Here is a link to one of her many songs recorded on an album:

Prayers for Holy Spirit to comfort you all in this time of loss. May Kay’s heart’s desire for each of you to walk with Jesus, keep you close to Him during this season of grieving.

With love and gratitude,
