Ted and I send our prayers to you, Shirley, and your family on the death of Earl. What a powerful witness he was to a loving and creative God. Earl was so gracious and kind to me as I was starting out in ministry. I was deeply appreciative of his commitment to excellence in everything he did and his quirky sense of humor. We were blessed by his ministry and his abiding faith. May God’s peace be with all of you as you grieve his death.

I don’t actually know how we were related, but I’m pretty sure we were. Condolences none the less. May his memory be a blessing.
