I am truly blessed to have known your family. My heart and prayers go out to you all. I hope you find strength and comfort in your faith and in knowing you will see his smiling face again one sweet day. Rick was one in a million and will be missed by many.

Shirley & family, my heart hurts for you all. Truly a great man was taken too soon. Rick was such a fun, loving and generous man. I know how much he loved you and your children, you could see it in his eyes and his smile. My boys and I enjoyed watching him at the auctions at church and he made us want to bid to see what he would do next! We had the pleasure of being around him recently and his spirit was always high no matter what. God bless you during this difficult time.

As fate would have it, I was able to Rick the week before Memorial Day weekend on a trip to Brenham to get my inspection at the shop. He told me that he was going to be in a dunking booth that weekend at St. Mary's and was his usual crazy self. Even tried to get me to buy raffle tickets. I can't believe just a month later he is gone. Shirley, Susie, James, Timmy, Missy and grandkids, please know that Rick was such an awesome man and will never be forgotten. I love you all and hope that God holds you close during this time.

Rick was always there to take care of our car problems and do all our inspections. He was always fun to talk with and share good jokes. He ran a good business here in Brenham and was well known for his good business practices. As a business neighbor we will miss him greatly. Our best to you Shirley and all your family.
