God bless your family and big hugs to everyone during this devastating time. Tina and Sara, your Dad was such a terrific man. He was such a genuine person and someone you just automatically liked upon meeting. I will never forget the ride he gave me on his Goldwing trike. It was so much fun. I am so sorry that he was taken from you far too soon and in such a senseless way. I keep telling myself that God has his reasons for taking our loved ones away, but it doesn't make the hurt any less painful for the ones left behind. Such a huge hole has been placed in the fabric of your lives with his loss. I pray for healing of all your hearts as you go through the grieving process.

I'm so shocked right now!!!! I just asked about Richard, and saw him from a distance not too long ago after asking B.J. about him. I'm so sorry for what seems to be a sudden loss.
I've hung out with Richard and his family years ago, and would see him off and on. He may not have remembered me, but he was a cool guy and I enjoyed the time I spent with him. The last time I had hung out with him (through B.J.), was when he moved into a place by Big Daddy's. I worked with B.J., so if we got together to do work after work, Richard was somewhere there.
To his daughter (B.J's wife), and that granddaughter, I'm sure he'll be missed. To me, he was a cool guy. Take care and may GOD keep you through these times.

Tina and Sara,
I worked with Richard for around ten years at Germania starting in the late 80's. He was my supervisor most of that time but most of all a great friend. There was never a dull moment around Richard; he had a way to always make you laugh and feel a little better about anything that may be bugging you at the time. He was truly a caring person and always there if you needed help with something. I cherish all of my memories of him and am very saddened for his loss. My sympathy to all of his family; he will be dearly missed.

Where do I begin... We are customers of Holcheim Prarie Insurance. Mr. Corn was an adjuster on one of our claims. Between the many properties and claims we have filed over the years; he and Matthew Caldwell have become like family. Just 3 weeks prior to his accident he met me at a property and of course we visited after business. We talked about his grandkiddos and mine as well. His values and love for his family would shine through in the stories he would share and just in his kind nature. My husband and I came to rely on Richard and valued his opinion. I say this to the family, we are strangers to you, but know this.. he loved you all and was so so proud to share your accomplishments and funny stories. You know we all go through life and few people cross our paths that we remember and respect, we are always too busy or caught up in the moment. Mr. Corn was REAL people. He was a person that you enjoyed working with and befriending. I know the Good Lord has welcomed him home with open arms and he is now doing God's work with a smile. May God help you and your family through your loss and Bless you all.

Sara and family: I am so sorry for your loss. There are no words that are adequate at a time like this. Your father and family were a part of our life for a long time as you were growing up. He was always good natured, tolerant and giving. We will always remember him fondly. May you find comfort in knowing that he lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed sharing the gifts he had. He will be missed by many, but certainly by his family. You will continue to be in my prayers and I know your faith will get you through the days ahead.
