My Dearest Friends and extended family. Curtis and I cannot express in words how sad we are to learn of Bobby's passing. This was completely a shock as we have not been in contact for a few years. I remember the first time I met Bobby. We had had car trouble and this wonderful, well nourished, young man offered to help us out. We learned that he was a Lichti - I called Jean the next day and told her what a wonderful young man she and Clayton had raised and she was proud. I never saw him but what I didn't get a hug and a laugh. I always knew I had a wonderful friend for life. I miss all of you guys. Wish we were there to express these words to you in person. After life settles down for you I would appreciate your getting back with us. I have tried on a few occasions to get in touch with Lynn but have not gotten an answer. Please remember we love all of you and we will keep you in our prayers.

Sincere condolences to the Lichti family. Bobby touched so many lives on his short time on this earth. I'll always remember him with a smile and a chuckle,as he always had one for you each time you saw him. Family was everything to him. I thank God for sharing him with his friends and family for as long as he did.

Dear Brenda,
My heart goes out to you during this very difficult time. May the Lord of us all be with you and your family, and give you the strength to cope with the devastating loss of a beloved spouse, father, son, brother. Your Robert sounds like a wonderful, kind man who was obviously dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
Take care.

I’m tired of people telling me
“You must be very strong
to bear your grief the way you do.”
Why can’t they see they’re wrong?
I’m weak, alone, and so afraid,
yet still, I guess, I try
to fill my days with busy things,
but late at night, I cry.
On those late nights; call if you need to talk.
Keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Our prayers are with all of you during this extremely difficult time. We always loved our visits to Brenham expecially spending time laughing with Bob. I remembered on one visit Bob and I(Sharon) did some "two stepping" at a local dance place. We will also remember the times growing up together in Batavia, NY. We'll pray that you find peace through so much sadness. We love all of you.

We did enough clowning in Junior High and High school...his friendship made those years bearable. For whatever reason...Bobby, my grand-dad (the Polish one) and I were driving around in the country one afternoon...Bobby didn't know what windmills were (we still had a bunch of 'em around back then)...Dziadzia (pronounced "Jaja") told him that those windmills were "cattle-fans" to keep cattle cool in the summer....Bobby bought it! I hope he sees the old man in Heaven...as I envision Heaven as a big ol' front porch....I hope they can drink a couple of beers and laugh about those days....

What a special member of our family Robert became as soon as he and Brenda fell in love. We had lots of laughs and he always had a smile and kind words when we were together. He loved his family and was a wonderful provider and protector. Cancer is cruel and it took this man way too soon. He fought the fight and lived life to the fullest. We are sad you are no longer with us but thankful that you're walking the streets of gold. We loved you and your legacy will live on in us until we are called home.

Yesterday we learned of the unfortunate and untimely death of Bobby. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel. Please know our loving thoughts embrace you during this difficult time. May your memories give you strength and replace the sadness you feel in your hearts. May God's word and the remembrance of Bobby's smile bring you comfort in the days ahead. Remembering you in our thoughts and prayers.

My heart is truly broken and so sad for you all. Bobby and David have always been my "little brothers." It's been some time sinse I last saw Bobby, but it was a given he would always have a BEAR hug and larger than life smile for me! Lynne & I were best friends in high school, the whole Lichti clan became a part of my extended family- From our trips to MD Anderson to our family adventure road trip to New York. He truly was a special "kid" who became a giving, caring man. It is so hard for me to understand/accept such a loss. Knowing he is with Grandma Lichti, mom and Kelly does give me comfort. I know he was welcomed with open arms, hugs and kisses. I hold you all close to my heart and send you my prayers. What a blessing to me to have had such a special soul in my life.
