Robert (Ned) Lenert, Jr.

Robert “Ned” Lenert, Jr., 94, of Houston passed away January 19, 2009.

Mr. Lenert was born January 1, 1915 in Brenham, TX to parents Robert Henry Lenert, Sr. and Marguerite Werner Lenert. He was a Brenham High School graduate and served in the Army Signal Corps. He married LaVerne Frederick in Hempstead, TX. Mr. Lenert was an entrepreneur in industrial electronics. He was an amateur photographer and developed his own photos.

His parents and sisters Werna Feldhoff and Marguerite Lenert preceded him in death.

His loving family includes his wife of 70 years LaVerne Lenert and daughter Terrie Lenert both of Houston.

Graveside services will be Monday, January 26, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Rev. Bob Gribble will officiate.
