Ruth Ann Nitz, age 77, of Brenham, formally of McHenry, Illinois, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2006 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan.
Mrs. Nitz was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 3, 1929 to Thomas Edward Stricker and Anna Stieber Stricker. She was employed as a secretary for National Fire Insurance Co. She was married to Richard L. Nitz.
Her family includes husband Richard L. Nitz of Brenham; sons Richard Lawrence Nitz of Mt. Prospect, Illinois and William Edward Nitz of Island Lake, Illinois; daughter Nancy Coyle of Hempstead; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 25, 2006 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father David Ivey as celebrant. Her cremains will be laid to rest at a later date in Chicago.
