My condolences. She was a beautiful lady.

Dear Beth and family. My mother, Corine Howard was your mother's roommate at Kruse. I remember talking to her many times when I would visit my mother. Beth, I know after meeting you while we were both there visiting our mother's at the same time, that you said she just keeps hanging on, and yes she did. I believe that both of them were strong-willed ladies and not willing to give up easily. Mrs. Townsend was still there in the room they shared when my mother passed away last October at the age of 100. They were real troopers. I'm so sorry for your loss but after reading her obituary, I know she is in heaven with her Lord & Savior...and with my mother who also knew Jesus as her Lord & Savior! I pray for peace & comfort for you & your family as you now navigate life without her.

I am grateful that I knew Mrs. Fuller and Dr. Fuller many years ago at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. They were wonderful people and so active in our church. We also remember Robert Townsend. She had a wonderful family. Our condolences in the death of this great Christian woman. She had a nice long and full life. God rest her soul.
