I read Sam's obituary and I have played it over and over in my head. So beautiful. The aliveness of connection (the bat and the ball). The victory lap filled with so much love and admiration which I am sure Sam felt always. Coming home to safety-- reading this, I am sure he felt safe in his life on Earth and now you can know that he is safe with his sister. I sadly never had the chance to know him, but I am watching him on his run around the bases and cheering and crying at the same time. God bless you all.

This wonderful young man and his family sat behind us at every Aggie baseball home game. He was a terrific fan and very loyal. I can still hear him cheering and chanting "ball 5". His family always took such outstanding care of him and insured he had whatever he needed to enjoy the game experience. They are a true inspiration for all parents. He will be missed and always remembered. Gig 'em Luke!
