Sherry (Brandt) Bright

Sherry Lynn Bright, born September 25, 1966, went to be with the Lord on October 2, 2018, after her battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her much loved grandparents, Clemens “Opa” and Vera Meyer “Oma” Brandt, and Hendry Schmidt and Nelda Warmke Schmidt. Sherry was born and raised in Brenham, Texas, to parents Virginia Brandt and Frederick Brandt who survive her.

Sherry was a mighty woman of God; her faith and love inspired all those around her. Sherry leaves behind her husband of 34 years, Michael Bright; three beautiful daughters that have followed in her footsteps of love, kindness, and faith in Jesus, Heather Bright, Brandi Bright and fiancé Clay Melson, Tiffany Topping and husband Trey, and precious grandchildren Annabelle Topping and Charles Topping.

Sherry will forever be remembered by her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and all the friends she made in her lifetime.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the Domino’s Partner Foundation that provided love and support to Sherry in her last days. Sherry loved her time working at MAC Pizza Management very much.

A visitation gathering with the family will be held from 10:00am until 12:00pm on Friday, October 12, 2018, in the fellowship hall of Welcome Lutheran Church. If you have a special picture of Sherry, please bring it with you to celebrate her life. At 12:00pm, a memorial service will begin, followed by interment in the Welcome Lutheran Church Cemetery.
