Obituary

Shirley Ann Williams was born November 24, 1937 in Brenham, Texas. She was a graduate of Pickard High School. On January 20, 1954, she married Thomas James Johnson. She was a homemaker. Shirley loved her family and taught them values by living a life of integrity, character, trust and straightforwardness. She was an excellent cook and loved doing yardwork. She shared her beautiful flowers with friends and her church by making centerpieces. Shirley was a caregiver to three generations of her family. She taught them respect and care for each other. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and served him with all her heart and sang praises to Him. She prayed for each member of her family daily.

Shirley peacefully passed from this life surrounded by her loving family and entered new life with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother Cedele Lewis Allen and sister Laura Keys Johnson.

She is survived by: her husband, Thomas James Johnson, Sr.; children, Veronica Faye Johnson Cloud and her husband Anthony Cloud, Joan Marie Johnson Mack, Thomas James Johnson, Jr. and wife Sharon Johnson; sister, Sandy MaGee Harvey; brother Sammie Lee Williams; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Shaun Pierre LeJuene Johnson and wife Courtney Michelle Johnson, Stephanie Mack Clark and husband Donald Clark, Devin A. Mack, Yasmin A. Mack, Ricky Mack, Jr. and special friend Sarah Zaruba and child Sophia Parrales, Ricky Ashley Mack, Jr.; LeAnna Marie Johnson, Travail T. Cloud, Joshua J. Cloud, Isaiah John Cloud, Princess Amyah Cloud, Aaron S. Cloud, Nicholas Johnson, Terrence Johnson, Theresa Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private service will be held for her family at Brenham Memorial Chapel.
