Ms. Shirley was one of the sweetest person we have known. We always received a Christmas card every year, even after she was in the nursing home.

We know that memories will keep her close to you & us. May you fine comfort in knowing that we care. Our thoughts are with you all at this time.

Prayers for all.

From our visits to her and Lou Lou's home on the shores of Caranchua Bay, my brother Neil, my sons Bill III and David and grandson, Court, remember Shirley as a lovely woman, great hostess and sincere friend. We enjoyed the best breakfasts and conversation after morning duck hunts on the Bay. Shirley was a remarkable lady who will be remembered and missed.

To all of Shirley's family: Please know I understand how difficult this is but knowing two of her daughters I feel like I know their Mother. Sometimes there are no words to say but cherish your Memories and be strong enough to understand she had a difficult time these last few years. Each child holds their special moments in their heart. God be with each of you at this time

Reba and I were first introduced to Shirley and Lou Lou years ago when I first went duck hunting with Lou Lou. That's another story.
Shirley immediately received us as if we had been friends for ever, which we soon became.
As many health problems as Shirley had I never once saw her without a smile on her face, even though I knew she was hurting.
Shirley and Lou Lou were two people
I am proud to say was my friend.
May the Good Lord ease the sorrow i know you are feeling at this time. Bill

For My Mother

I shed my tears knowing you’re gone from me, yet I smile because you have lived. You thought me to love all music & dancing. You have showed me to love with all my heart.

My heart may be breaking now, but I find solace knowing you are no longer in pain. I cherish my memories and let them live on.

You’re in Heaven now with Dad, where you’ve wanted to be. Healthy and laughing, as it should be.

I won’t close my mind, be empty or turn away. I’ll do as you’ve thought me.. Open my eyes, smile, Love and go on.

I love you Mom!
