Tecklea Kopycinski

Tecklea Kopycinski, born June 23, 1922 in Chappell Hill, Texas, the daughter of Mike and Hedwig Majewski Brzymialkiewicz, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2007 in Bellville, Texas.

She is survived by: her sons, John Kopycinski and wife Carolyn, Mike Kopycinski and wife Emily; daughter Joanna K. Zimmerman all of Chappell Hill; grandchildren, Mark Kopycinski of Chappell Hill, Blake and Jennifer Zimmerman, Angela and Dave Dreiling, Christi and Matt Strock all of Houston, Heidi and Gary Wilson of Dallas, Chris and Tiffany Thompson of Brenham; great-grandchildren, Dawson Dreiling, Tanner Dreiling, Skyler Dreiling, Hannah Dreiling, John Strock, Robert Strock, Taite Thompson, Thayley Thompson, Ella Zimmerman; sister, Frances Bugaj and husband Steve of Houston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billie, sister Eva and brother Paul.

She was baptized in the Catholic Church, and was long time member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Chappell Hill. She was also a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She married Billie Anthony Kopycinski on June 30, 1941 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hempstead. Mrs. Kopycinski lived in Chappell Hill and was a local business owner for many years.

A Rosary will be held Friday evening, October 19, 2007 at 7 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill with Father Vincent Chacko officiating. Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mark Kopycinski, Blake Zimmerman, Dave Dreiling, Matt Strock, Chris Thompson and Timmy Murski. Honorary pallbearers are Ike Brzymialkiewicz and John Gunn.
