Theresa Agnes Bilski

Theresa Agnes Bilski age 88 of Brenham passed away Friday, September 16, 2011 in the Care Center of Brenham.

She was born in Washington County, Texas, February 10, 1923 to Stanley and Frances (Kopycinski) Bartniski.

Theresa was a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, attended school at St. Mary’s, and on January 22, 1947, Msgr. Charles Weisnerowski married Theresa to Chester Bilski. Theresa was a member of the Ladies Society of St. Mary’s, enjoyed caring for others, gardening, the outdoors, visiting with her sisters, children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death her husband, Chester, daughter Frances, one brother and seven sisters.

Theresa is survived by: two sons Mark Bilski and wife Linda, John Bilski and wife Susie; daughter, Barbara J. Whittaker and husband Mark; six grandchildren, Brooke and Kass Copelin, Bridget Bilski and special friend Cody Marburger, Nicholas and Stephanie Bilski, Jenny Bilski, Bryant Whittaker and special friend Savannah Harrington, Aric Whittaker; great grandson, Kaden Copelin; two sisters, Helen Mobley and Florence Derkowski; sister-in-law, Mary Bartniski; and brother-in-law, Chester Kaminski.

Visitation will be 4- 6:30 PM, Monday, September 19, 2011 in Brenham Memorial Chapel, with Rosary recited at 7 PM by Deacon Dan Novak.

Funeral mass will be 10 AM Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Father William Bartniski Celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bryant Whittaker, Aric Whittaker, Michael Bartniski, Michael Derkowski, Frank Bilski Jr., E.J. Bilski, Butch Bilski, and Thomas Kaminsky.
