Thomas Carlton Blake, Jr.

Thomas Carlton Blake, Jr., 57, died in Burbank, California.

Carlton was born April 10, 1953, in Brenham, son of Tom and Mollie (Brewer) Blake. In January 1964, he moved with his family to Fort Smith, Arkansas and graduated from Northside High School in 1971. He held a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Colorado State University. Carlton resided in Houston for a number of years. He then settled in Burbank, California, where he was founder and owner of Media Content, a computer hardware company.

His mother, paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. T.C. Blake and maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Hugh H. Brewer preceded him in death.

Survivors include: his father and stepmother, Tom and Marjorie Blake of Fort Smith, Arkansas; brother, Kelly Blake of Fort Smith, Arkansas; sisters, Elizabeth (Betsy) Blake Berrier of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Nancy Blake of Mansfield, Texas.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 10 a.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Earl McIntyre officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
