Such sad news. Tommie was a loyal friend and customer for many years. He always offered a smile and happiness to all. May he rest in peace. And, enjoy his well earned reward.

He was always so sweet to me. He always gave me a big hug. I can still remember when he was born. I'm so sad that he's gone, but I cherish the memories we made when we were together.

So sorry that he's gone. I remember our time together at all those family reunions/functions when I was growing up. He had this signature greeting where he'd grab your shoulder tightly before asking how you were doing. Really and truly he always had a smile on his face from every memory that I have on him.

I have so many great memories of the time Tommie and I spent together. A few of the best ones, ones, driving in the country, relaxing on the front porch, him teaching me to make fresh sausage, watching him work his magic making beautiful homes and spending time with his son and my boys. The absolute best gift I received from Tommie is our beautiful daughter, Desiree. She is so blessed that she inherited the best parts of her Dad. From his loving, compassionate nature to his sense of humor. Sending my deepest condolences to all his family.

Tommie was always fun to be around. A man way ahead of his time using reclaimed wood before it was a thing. County chic designs. I will have a drink to celebrate his life! Fly high Tommie!

Tommie was a great man and he will be missed. He worked hard,he was a fair and honest businessman, and he and Yolanda helped countless people over the years without expecting anything in return. He was tough and strong but had a heart of gold. He knew so much about building and revitalized the east side of town almost single-handedly,using reclaimed wood and materials in his projects. The many beautiful, well built homes and commercial properties he built around Washington County will be his legacy to us for many years to come. His wit and sense of humor and happy humble spirit made him a joy to be around. Our deepest sympathy to his family who loved him so much. We share your loss. Until we meet again, dear friend

Tommie Lee was the youngest of my 3 brothers. From time to time, we'd call each other; sometimes we visited each other. He had a wonderful smile, and I could always get a hug. He always spoke what was on his mind; he did not believe in "fake news." He had a great work ethic. My heart breaks for all of us. I will miss seeing him in this life. May God grant him peace as he takes on his angel wings. Love you always, little brother. (He was the first baby born in the new St Jude Hospital in Brenham in 1954.)
