So sorry to hear of the passing of Troy. He was a great man, and will be missed dearly by many. My prayers are with you and your family at this time.

Dear Tami and Family,

Little did he know, but I think of Troy everyday of my life because outside my kitchen window is the most magnificent fig tree. Troy planted it there for me personally 19 years ago. Ironically, just like Troy it has flourished, borne fruit, and nourished many through the years. Troy will live on for us...through a humble fig tree that dates back to the Bible. May it ease your grief to know that Troy made a difference in countless lives, and we surround you in prayer in this profound time of sorrow.

I am heart broken to hear about Troy, no words can ease the pain and sorrow for loosing such a great husband, father, friend, and godly man. I have many fond memories of Troy back when we were growing up together in the big town of Waller. He was one of my best friends, one that I truly looked up to.

Tami and family: Troy was an amazing man! I am so glad that I had the honor of knowing him. He had the warmest smile and the most generous heart. Thank you both for being a wonderful example to me of what it means to live a Christ like life. You both have my highest admiration. Troy inspired and touched so many lives because of his faith. My heart aches for you and your families. WOW, a loving, kind, and Godly man has left his earthly home much too soon. But as we know too well God calls us home when He is ready. Age is not a factor. Troy left an impact on many people including my family. Troy and Tami the first two we met when visiting FBC, the first two to make special arrangements when our son Andrew was only a couple of weeks old and we were afraid of leaving him in the church nursery, and the first two to understand the loss of a child. Troy truly was an example of a perfect husband, father and family man. He loved The Lord and was not afraid to show it outwardly. A true servant of God's always seeking His advice first.

Please know the depth of your loss is felt by this entire community. He will be missed and always remembered as a Godly man who loved his family and did for others. Heaven is truly blessed by his presence. Our love and prayers are with you in the days ahead.

I'm thinking God needed another helper up in heaven to prepare things for the rest of us. I can just imagine Travis welcoming Troy up there and them having a great time being in on the preparations.
