Virginia Kessel Hodde

Virginia Kessel Hodde, widow of A. W. Hodde, Jr. and daughter of the late Fred and Josephine Kessel, died January 21, 2024 at the age of 93. She was born in Brenham, Texas, on November 23, 1930.

She is survived by her four children: Gwen Spiess (Donald) and James Hodde (Lynnette), all of Brenham; Lefayne Hodde (Sarah) of Austin, and Robert B. Hodde of Victoria; four grandchildren: Alison Loughlin and husband Thomas of The Woodlands, Texas; Adam W. Spiess and wife Jennie of Coppell, Texas; Halen Hodde of Fort Collins, Colorado; and Harper Hodde of Victoria, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Carolyn Kessel, and sister-in-law Louise Kessel (widow of Fred B. Kessel), and their families.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

A visitation will be held at Brenham Memorial Chapel, from 8am until 7pm, Thursday, January 25, 2024.

A private graveside service will be held.
