Virginia Meschwitz

Virginia Meschwitz, age 81 of Brenham, passed away Sunday November 2, 2025.

She was born November 19, 1943 to parents Joe E. and Zofie (Mazyn) Moszkowicz in Chappell Hill, Texas. She attended Chappell Hill schools. In 1964, she married Carl “Bobo” Meschwitz in Brenham. She was a homemaker and throughout the years worked numerous jobs. Most of all, Virginia cherished time spent with family and friends. She enjoyed working in and decorating her yard and then just sitting to relax.

Virginia was preceded in death by: her husband Carl “Bobo” Meschwitz, son Rickie Charles Meschwitz, sister Caroline Moszkowicz, and brother Julian Moszkowicz.

Surviving family includes: children, Alfred and Tammie Meschwitz , Janette and Jacob Beckendorf; grandchildren, Cory and Cassy Meschwitz, Jared Beckendorf, and Jewel Beckendorf; siblings and their spouses, Joe and Sophie Moszkowicz, Bebe and Joe Gurka, Ernest Moszkowicz, Billy and Susie Moszkowicz, Angie and John Herridge; Maryanne Moszkowicz, Max and Cynthia Moszkowicz, Shirley and Gene Ray, Joanne “Joey” Moszkowicz; sister-in-law, Judy Dallmeyer; brothers-in-law, Roger Meschwitz, Jerry Meschwitz and numerous friends.

Virginia wanted all her family and friends to go and enjoy life and share all the great memories of her. Immediate family members will have a small gathering to celebrate her life.
