Walter "Waldo" Krueger

Walter “Waldo” Krueger, age 86 of Brenham, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at High Hope Care Center of Brenham. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 28, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel with Reverend Kris Brower officiating. Burial will follow in St. Matthew Lutheran Church Cemetery of Sandy Hill.

Walter, affectionately known to his family and friends as Waldo, was born April 15, 1928 in the Rocky Hill Community of Washington County to Adolph and Sophie Krueger. He was a farmer and a hardworking man throughout his life.

He is survived by his family: sister, Florence and husband Leon Schwartz; nephews, Mark and wife Shannon Schwartz, Scottie and wife Tony Schwartz, all of Brenham; nieces, Peggy Lynn Krueger, Sharon Kay Krueger, Carolyn Krueger, Geraldine Krueger, Florence Ann Krueger, and Sharon Krueger; great grand nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Addie, Carter, Tanner and Clay Schwartz.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Hermann and Lonnie; and nephew, Allan Schwartz.

Pallbearers will be Leon Schwartz, Mark Schwartz, Scottie Schwartz, Arvin
Wagner, Vernon Wagner, and Ray Lauter.

The family would like to thank the staff of Bluebonnet Hills Care Center and the High Hope Care Center for 18 years of loving care.
