It was an honor to have met, conversed, and laughed with Deacon Bill! My deepest and most sincere condolences to the Januszewski Family. Needless to say, we were both much younger men when those conversations happened, but it's easy to recall a 25 year old memory when it was so meaningful. I belong to the immense following of friends that the good deacon's son, Joe, has amassed over the years; our numbers are unrivaled. Why? How? Well, you don't know me, but if you did, you would know my father. I am a man after my father's heart. Joe is also a man after his father's own heart. I believe I know Deacon Bill better than I actually do, because I know his son. The best qualities of the good deacon are in the heart of his son, and that is one reason we all love and adore Joe so much. To know a man's son is to know the man - the Son of God said as much about His Father in Heaven (St. Jn xiv.9). I have witnessed the reflection of a father in a son, and Joe has revealed to his friends what kind of man his father was: also unrivaled. May the Light of the Living Christ, the Resurrection and the Life, Jesus Christ perpetually shine upon Deacon Bill as he moves from grace to grace.
