Sending my deepest condolences to Yvonne, Gregory, Alan, Lloyd and Paul and your families in the loss of your wonderful mother. I remember her and your great dad from years ago when I, Pam and Charlene used to visit Yvonne at your family's home in Arcadia, and when Yvonne and I playing our clarinets in your Scotty camper! :) Ms. Motl was always so sweet and special and made us feel so welcome there! I'm sure your mom and dad are happy together again in heaven!

So very sorry for your loss. I loved Willie Mae and enjoyed the time spent with her. An angel got her wings. God Bless your family during this time.
May peace be with you.

It is hard to think of Aunt Willie Mae without thinking of her late husband, my Uncle Gilbert - such was their strong love, and they clearly adored each other. Although I am sad about Aunt Willie Mae’s passing, there is beauty in her being reunited with her husband of 70 years. In the days to come, I will be thinking of the kind woman with a gentle smile and nurturing soul. And, I will be thinking of the early 1970s sleepovers at my cousins’ house in Arcadia - my first solo outings “far” from home! - and how Aunt Willie Mae always made me feel at ease, like I was “one of the gang.” Rest in Peace, Aunt Willie Mae.
