Obituary

Andrew Philip Kowalski, Jr. – fondly known as Bobby, passed away on October 6, 2021. Bobby was born on May 22, 1932 to Andrew and Victoria (Wrobleski) Kowalski. He was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Bobby proudly served his country from 1953-1955 with the United States Army.

Bobby was the most kind hearted, hardworking, gentle man who was a friend to many. Bobby worked for Robert Lange for most of his life, and eventually retired from there. He was well known for his heavy equipment mechanic skills. Bobby could be found at Allan’s Automotive sharing his mechanic advice or riding around Brenham with one of his many dogs. Bobby loved his dogs Sparky, Bud and Anna. He also loved fishing and squirrel hunting with family and friends.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by special cousins – Lucille Rybarski and family and Dorothy Michalek and family.

Visitation for Bobby will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 8am to 7pm at Brenham Memorial Chapel located at 2300 Stringer St. Brenham, Texas. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 10am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Brenham, Texas with the burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

The family would like to thank special friend Lynette Hammock and Hospice Brazos Valley and “his girls” at Chase Bank – Brenham for all their love and support.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Allan, Chase and Brent Michalek, Johnnie Eckert, Mark Schwartz and Dean Rybarski.

Memorials may be given to Hospice Brazos Valley.
