Obituary

On April 6, 2022 our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Deborah Sue Schneider was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Deborah was born May 2, 1954 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Doris and Ronald Bennett. She attended school, was baptized and confirmed in the catholic church where she remained a lifelong member.

She married Glen Schneider on September 8, 1983 and remained married until her death. Early in her life she worked at Sealy Mattress, Blue Bell and Weiners Department Store. She found her true calling in her life taking care of others, especially the elderly, where she devoted much of her life. She always looked forward to Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas family meals she worked tirelessly preparing, as well as the yearly family week in Galveston. Her grandchildren were the light of her life as she always kept busy baking, making scrapbooks and working on handmade quilts for them. Deborah was a kind and compassionate person who was always willing to share her time, talent and treasure with anyone in need. Deborah’s life was guided by her deep faith in Jesus Christ, as all who knew her came to realize. Passing on her faith to her family, especially her son and grandchildren was truly important to her. She also served as a CCE religious education teacher, where she was a member at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Deborah is survived by husband Glen Schneider, son Jason Bolcerek and wife Stacey, daughter Jennifer Wilson and husband Rick, grandchildren, Blane Bolcerek, Bailey Bolcerek, Kandice Timmerman (Garrett), Kayla Wilson and Kyle Wilson.
