Obituary

Harold Charles Wesneski, 87, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023 at the home of Mark and Veronica Wesneski, with his loving wife Natalie and family at his side.

Harold was born in Brenham, Texas on September 22, 1935 to parents Steve Frank and Mary (Andrejczak) Wesneski.

On October 25, 1958, Harold was united in marriage to Natalie Ann Januszewski at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brenham. They made their home in Houston for over 63 years. Harold was employed by ABC Door Company for over 42 years and retired at age 64. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed his farm in Brenham, hunting and fishing.

Harold and Natalie were faithful and devoted Catholics and they were honored to have been charter members of St. Ambrose Catholic Church of Houston for over 62 years.

Harold is proceeded in death by his parents, Steve Frank and Mary; siblings, Willie Wesneski, Bennie Wesneski, Dennis Wesneski, Jerry Wesneski, Alvin Wesneski, Steve Wesneski, Jr., Hattie Light and Angie Carpenter.

Harold is survived by his loving family: wife, Natalie; sons, Harold Jr. and wife Dayna of Tomball, Mark and wife Veronica of Needville and James and wife Lisa of Cypress; grandchildren, Amanda Wesneski and friend Philip Ballard, Brian Wesneski and wife Cortney, Brittany Foerster and husband Corey, Brooke Wesneski, Taylor Wesneski and friend Kevin Weiss, Caitlin Shipp and husband John, Hayden Wesneski, Cole Wesneski; great grandchildren, Allison Wesneski, Sawyer Marburger, Blaine Foerster, Owen Wesneski and Olivia Foerster. He is also survived by: sisters, Dorothy Wesneski and Annie Wesneski of Brenham; sisters-in-law, Clara Wesneski and Edna Wesneski; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brenham, Texas with Father Everardo Cazares as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brian Wesneski, Corey Foerster, John Shipp, Hayden Wesneski, Cole Wesneski, Philip Ballard and Kevin Weiss.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Houston or St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Brenham.
