Jaxson Rodgers

Jaxson Lee Rodgers, 6 months old, was received by Jesus on March 25, 2023. Jaxson was born September 22, 2022 in Brenham, Texas to Adam Rodgers and Hailey Ruiz.

Jaxson was a happy little guy who brought a lot of joy to a lot of people in his short time with them. Jaxson was just starting to sit up on his own, loved jumping in his bouncer, taking walks with mom and grabbing and pulling hair. He liked listening to the Cocomelon theme song and using his outside voice ALL the time! He enjoyed sweet potatoes and carrots if they were warmed up but his absolute favorite was a blueberry - banana - blackberry dessert mixed with his oat cereal and don’t tell mom, but he was also liking that vanilla ice cream! Jaxson loved to be in his mom’s arms, he was daddy’s “Mini Me” and he loved playing with great-grandma and her puppy was a lot of fun too! Jaxson’s mommy would like him to always know that, “You are smart, you are kind, you are strong, you are important and sooooo handsome!! I love you Jaxson Lee!”

Jaxson has joined his Uncle Jack Ford in heaven. He leaves behind mommy and daddy, great-grandparents, Helen Richards and Ray and Grace Converse; grandparents, Kellie Dempsey, Scott Rodgers, Misty Sparkman and Randy Ruiz; uncles, Jordan Coward and Garrett Spears and lots of aunts, Destiny and Faith Ford, Vallerie Coward, Brianna Spears, Maddison Goode, Haley Sherrod, Jaycee Rodgers and great aunt Susan Divine.

A visitation for Jaxson will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm at Brenham Memorial Chapel located at 2300 Stringer Street, Brenham, Texas. A small service for Jaxson will begin at 2:00 pm and the visitation will continue after the service until 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to the family to help cover funeral, medical and other expenses.
