Obituary

Michael “Mike” Moudry, 56, passed away on September 14, 2021. Mike was born in Houston, Texas on October 28, 1964 to Jimmy and Patsy (Hollaway) Moudry.

Mike was a graduate of Bellville High School. He was baptized into the Lutheran faith in 1998 and a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Gay Hill. Mike did many things such as working at Blue Bell Creameries and a Captain with the Gay Hill fire department but was probably most comfortable being a husband, dad, grandpa, brother and son. Mike will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Mike was preceded in death by his dad; Jimmie Moudry, his aunt; Barbara Piazza and his father in law; Rufus Lange. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 27 years; Teresa Moudry and their children; Mikey Moudry and his girlfriend Kaci Krueger, Tara Moudry, Chandler Moudry and his fiancé Shelby Parker, Shannon Galindo and her husband Saul, Ashley Moudry and special friend Alicia, Rebecca Galvan and her husband Zacarias, his mother; Patsy Cochran Hollaway, his brother; Matt Moudry and his wife Lisa, his grandchildren; Avery, Khloe, Aurelio, Zayona, Evelina, Isaias, Esmeralda, and Emily, his mother in law; Gladys Lange and nieces and a nephew; Vanessa, Mandy and Matthew.

A visitation for Mike will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 from 8am to 7pm with the family present from 5pm to 7pm at Brenham Memorial Chapel located at 2300 Stringer St. Brenham, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10am at Brenham Memorial Chapel with Pastor Skip Stutts officiating. The burial will follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery of Gay Hill.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Mikey Moudry, Chandler Moudry, Matthew Moudry, Michael Stegemoeller, Jason Merriman, Carl Hynes, Matthew Joiner and Justin Graef. Honorary pallbearer will be Tara Moudry.
