My sympathy to Mr. Blake's family. I enjoyed chatting with Mr. Blake when he would stop by KFPW, the radio station I used to work. Also liked reading his column.

I remember my parents talking about what a great newsman Mr. Blake was. I extend my sympathy to the family. May your memories bring you comfort and your faith bring you strength.

Tom was a remarkable man who communicated well with his constituents. While serving as mayor of Ozark, AR, I often had lunch with him when he was in Ozark. He was a friend to all who knew him.

I remember meeting Tom and his daughter Nancy as a young man, through my father when I lived in Poteau. Nice folks, whom I regret I did not know better.
