Obituary

Valerian V.J. Jozwiak, 80, of Houston and husband of Margie (Kenjora) Jozwiak passed away on August 22, 2021.

V.J. Jozwiak was born in Chappell Hill, Texas on January 24, 1941 to Willie and Ladislava Jozwiak. He attended St. Stanislaus Catholic School and Hempstead school. All his sacraments were made in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. There were 4 boys and 6 girls in his family. There was much love in their family. They didn’t have much but what they did have they shared with others.

V.J. met his sweetheart (Margie) at Bill Mraz Dance Hall and they married on August 11, 1962. He started Jozwiak Plumbing in 1970. He had numerous employees over the years, some were family and some were friends. When he retired, his two sons, Richard and Vincent took over the business. V.J. and Margie purchased property in Hempstead, Texas in 1970 on the Brazos River where he raised cattle, loved to fish, and garden. He always had an open door for anyone and if you left hungry, it was your own fault. They loved to travel, play pitch, go to the casino, and listen to polish music. He loved his polish heritage. V.J. was the sweetest, kindest, loving, generous, Godly husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and friend. He will be missed dearly.

We want to give a special thanks to his care taker, Jasmine Flowers. Thank you for being a part of our family for the past year and a half.

We love you and we miss you, but we know you are completely healed and smiling down on us all. Enjoy riding your tractor and checking on your cows up there in heaven. We know we will see you again soon.
